Good Luck U16 Boys Elite and U18 Boys Elite at State Cup Final Four

Key Biscayne, FL — May 13, 2019

KBSC Boys made history by having two teams qualify to the State Cup Final 4.  We have had prior winners in the past, but for the first time we could have two champions in the same season.

U16 Elite, coached by Hernan Acosta, advance to the semi-final game this past weekend. On Saturday, their round of 16 game, they faced Miami rival Kendall Soccer Club.  It was their 3rd meeting this season and it all came together with a 3:1 win.  In the Quarter Finals, they met a strong challenge but prevailed.

U18 Elite, coached by Marco Cortez, played solid to take two hard fought games.  The defense is playing very well, allowing only 1 goals in the State Cup championships.

We wish both teams well and more importantly, enjoy the moment.  Your hard work and teamwork are a model for the other teams that will come after you that we can achieve great results when players respect each other and come together for the same goal.  We thank all the players, coaches and parents that have supported our club and contributed to the fantastic results on the field.

The Semifinals and Final will be hosted in Auburndale, FL on May 18th & 19th.  Give it all you have.  Go Blue!!!
